Position Overview:We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and flexible AM Floater to join our team! As an AM Floater, you’ll play a key support role during our busy morning hours, assisting in multiple classrooms as needed. You’ll help set the tone for the day by greeting children with a smile, supporting transitions, and jumping in wherever an extra pair of hands is needed. Responsibilities: * Assist lead teachers and support staff in various classrooms (ages infant to preschool) * Help with morning transitions, breakfast/snack, diapering/toileting, and morning activities * Provide supervision and engage children in developmentally appropriate play * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment * Follow daily schedules and routines set by the classroom teacher * Step in for staff breaks or short absences as needed * Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required * Experience working with young children in a childcare or preschool setting preferred * Flexibility, reliability, and a team-player attitude are a must! * Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks and health requirements * CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Why Join Little Duckling? * Supportive and fun team environment * Ongoing professional development opportunities * Meaningful work with amazing children and families * Opportunity for growth within the center
