Requirements High School Diploma or GED A valid driver's license One year experience working in human services or with individuals with disabilities (preferred but not required) The ability to handle children/individuals in crisis safely, with compassion. Key Responsibilities Communicate about issues which impact students and program operation to team and supervisor. Assist in the preparation of IEPs, annual and semi‑annual assessments. Maintain logs and record behavioral progress. Maintain clear visuals for monitoring cameras. Provide informal counseling for students. Maintain a clean environment for students. Track clothing including seasonal rotation. Constructively participate in team meetings and supervision. Implement laundry schedules, chore charts, shower schedules. Maintain confidential student information. Provide therapeutic crisis intervention, as needed. Latham may be able to provide temporary individual housing based on availability. Competitive Pay / Paid Time Off Latham offers competitive pay with a $3 per hour weekend differential. Full‑time employees accrue 5 weeks of Earned Time Away in the first year of employment. Retirement Program Latham provides up to a 5% employer match for any employee enrolled in the 403(b) retirement plan. Employees are eligible at the start of employment. Paid Training and Tuition Reimbursement Latham provides training opportunities to help staff advance skills and professional growth. Tuition reimbursement is available to benefited employees after 1 year of employment. Locations across Cape Cod and southeastern MA Employee Benefits Summary Benefits are available to full or part‑time employees who work 20 hours or more per week in a regular position. Eligibility is generally the first day of the 3rd month of employment or at open enrollment in July. Details are provided through Supervisors, Human Resources, and the collective bargaining agreement. The benefits package is reviewed periodically and subject to change. Latham Centers, Inc.
