The Opportunity

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Myoora Homestead in our Riverina Murray Region . You will make a difference to our residents by facilitating positive health and by providing a high standard of quality care to facility residents by providing and maintaining a high standard of cleaning within the facility.

What you bring to the role

• An ability to demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness
• An ability to demonstrate empathy with aged residents
• An ability to work without close supervision and in a safe manner
• Knowledge of infection control and hazardous substances
• Be aware of continual improvement processes
• Desirable to hold a current First Aid Certificate
• Excellent Team player who is highly motivated
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety
• Availability to work various shifts across various days

Pre-employment screening

• Vaccinated in accordance with UPAs Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
• Undertake a National Criminal History Check
• Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
