The Clinical Nurse (Registered Nurse) provides safe, competent, and high-quality patient care based on nursing theory, research, and evidence-based practices. This role is responsible for delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes within a radiology and procedural care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, transitions of care, and health promotion Promote a positive patient experience through effective communication, empathy, and responsiveness to patient needs Ensure patient safety and quality care by adhering to clinical standards, identifying risks, and participating in quality improvement initiatives Support unit operations, including charge responsibilities, resource coordination, patient flow, and accurate documentation Engage in professional development, maintain clinical competency, and contribute to a collaborative care environment Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree in Nursing considered only with relevant experience and active enrollment in a BSN program Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 2 years in Interventional Radiology Experience in ambulatory care, radiation safety, and post-procedural care; travel experience required for travel roles only BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required Strong IV skills and knowledge of radiation safety protocols; experience with stress test performance preferred Experience with EPIC preferred Ability to float between units as needed Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills 13-week contract position (extension possibly) Shift is 7.5 hrs/day shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 37.5 hrs/week Location is New York City, NY 10029 Pay Rate for Locals: $65 - $70 hourly Call to Action Spots Are Filling Quickly — Apply Now!
