Compensation:

Your Responsibilities as a Weekend Caregiver:
At Griswold Home Care, we’re looking for caregivers of all experience levels to work weekends, including Caregivers (no certification needed), CNAs, and HHAs. In this role, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and happy in their homes.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing companionship and helping with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal prep.
- Assisting with personal care activities like grooming and hygiene.
- Offering mobility support, such as transferring clients from bed to chair or helping with walking.
- Performing light housekeeping duties like laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up the home.
- Monitoring client health and reporting any changes to the appropriate care team members.
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure the highest quality care is provided.
Who Should Apply:
- Caregivers (No License Required): No prior experience needed, just a caring attitude and a desire to help others.
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA): Must have a valid CNA certification and be able to perform more skilled care tasks.
- Home Health Aides (HHA): Current HHA certification is preferred, and experience working in a home care setting is a plus.
- Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work on weekends is a requirement, with the opportunity to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, or full-day shifts.
- Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are needed to travel between client homes.
- Strong Communication Skills: The ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals is essential.
- Experience (Preferred but Not Required): Prior experience in caregiving, CNA, or HHA roles is a plus, but we provide training for those just starting their caregiving careers.
